All worlds collide

COMMUNITY & CHILDREN:

What distinguishes SEBA from any other networking or business alliance groups in Southern Arizona is our focus on corporate and community social responsibility. Since the growth and future of any community is its children, our primary focus is community partnerships involving kids. Most small business owners are also parents, and we work hard to grow our families as well as our community – both to make it a better place to live, by having our children be safe and an environment to have our businesses grow and thrive. Without this partnership, networking is just name collection. SEBA takes your business and makes it easy to participate in whatever community events make sense for your family and your business. At each SEBA meeting you learn what’s new with our community and strategic partners and you learn about volunteer opportunities in your area. You can select as many opportunities as that work for you, and at the same time make a difference.
Most people do not realize that when you give your time, your wisdom/experience, and your mentorship that you gain far more than what you gave. Try it and see.  If you volunteer with one of our community/strategic partners-you can see the transformation right in front you and have a rewarding experience at the same time!
Aside from community involvement, your fellow SEBA members are all trying to be the best corporate citizens they can be. Even if you do nothing more than work with as many of these companies as possible during the following year, you’ve made a small dent in being more socially responsible. You’ve worked with local Tucson companies, kept more money in your local economy and helped businesses with sustainability and enriching our community
Life is all about choices. From where you choose to get gas to where you buy your morning coffee to where you purchase all of the other goods and services that your family and business consume. Everything is a choice. You can choose to purchase organic produce at the grocery store or to buy gas from a brand that you believe to be working harder to protect the environment. All of these choices impact our community at large. By working with your fellow SEBA businesses, your choices work to help our community – even in a very small way – every day. These choices all ad up.
